Ideal Computer Concepts is comprised of two partners doing business independently. DennisOS is operated by Thomas Dennis in West Farg, ND. BeckettOS is operated by Douglas Beckett in Billings, MT.

We are a web developer that functions as a value added resource (VAR) for web based content management systems (wbCMS). Simply, this means we develop websites that use wbCMS platform and add value by customizing it to fit a specific need. We use common open source wbCMS platforms like Joomla!, WordPress, and Drupal. There are many platforms, but they require a lot of work to make them efficient for unique business needs. A Realtor needs a site to function differently than a newspaper. We make them fit unique needs. We add the value needed to make them effective. We also manage them on a regular basis to make sure they are secure, updated, and running smoothly.

Open source wbCMS platforms are a tremendous opportunity for organizations and small/mid size businesses to offer an excellent web site to their customers, employee's, and business partners. Developing a website should not have a large initial cost in the modern era of the web. There are so many freely available tools out there for a business to take advantage of. There is a need to have someone find the tools, make them work, ensure the site is running properly, provide support, and assist in developing a total web strategy. The originial Ideal Computer Concept was that small businesses on their own cannot afford the support needed for an effective web strategy; collectivley several businesses chipping in together can make it cost effective.
